Autumn Diving in Malta

The Amphibians keep on diving the beautiful Maltese waters all year round.

Diving the HMS Hellespont Pt.2

 The Imperial Eagle

In September, the Amphibians explored the wrecks of the HMS Hellespont paddle steamer and the Imperial Eagle ferry. Both these vessels provided essential services; the former as a tug boat operating in Grand Harbour up until WWII when she was severely damaged by enemy bombs and the other ferrying people and cargo between the islands of Malta and Gozo.

Here we capture some of the great moments of these wreck dives.
